Executive Care of Clearwater Helps Local Community through Charitable Endeavors
Executive Home Care of Clearwater—one of the leading home healthcare franchises—does much more than provide high-quality in-home care. The office dedicates time and talent to care for the community through various volunteer efforts.
“I was attracted to home healthcare because I wanted to help people. You see so many opportunities each day to go out and help your neighbor,” Andy Corbett, Executive Care of Clearwater owner, said. “It brings me and my team joy to put smiles on people’s faces and we will continue to pursue opportunities that allow us to do just that.”
Executive Care of Clearwater’s volunteer activities include, but are not limited to:
- Weekly volunteering with Toymakers of East Lake—an organization for retirees to help make toys and deliver them to children. To date the Toymakers have delivered 38,000 toys to children.
- Fundraising and volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Family Association Tampa Bay Charity Golf Tournament on November 4.
- Working with local TV stations to field calls from seniors who did not know who else to go to during Hurricane Irma. Corbett shared tips and advice, eventually organizing a food and supply drive and hand delivering donated items to senior communities in Tampa Bay.
“We couldn’t be more proud of the efforts of Andy and his team to help the community down in Clearwater,” Executive Care CEO and co-founder Lenny Verkhoglaz noted. “He is a shining example of our founding principles and epitomizes our mission—helping our neighbors in times of need and caring for all in our community.”
Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled nursing services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one – all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home.
