Senior Care Franchise Opens First Seattle Location

With an aging population that requires help with daily activities or with managing health, in-home care has become a popular solution. Looking to help manage the rising demand for such services, Executive Care, one of the nation’s leading providers of skilled home health care, has opened its first Seattle location this May.

The new location serves Seattle’s Eastside, and is the first of three that Executive Care hopes to open in the metro area over the next few years.

“An increasing number of people have become aware that in-home care might be a better choice for them or an elderly loved one than moving out to a nursing home or other type of senior care facility. At Executive Care, we offer top of the line live-in home care services, and tailor our type of care to exactly suit individual needs,” said Lenny Verkhoglaz, co-founder and CEO of Executive Care. “We couldn’t be more excited to finally bring our services to the Seattle marketplace.”

Founded in 2004, Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled nursing services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one – all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. Executive Care’s services include, but are not limited to, meal preparation, ambulation, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, transfers, transportation, shopping, companionship, medication reminders and live-in-care. Executive Care also serves individuals recovering from illness, injury or surgery.

To guarantee the highest quality, Executive Care requires all prospective caregivers undergo an intensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background investigation, verification of references and an employment history check. All caregivers are insured, experienced and undergo skills tests and continuing education training. Registered nurses closely supervise and monitor all staff, conducting periodic evaluation assessments.

The new Seattle location is owned by Aarti Bindlish. Prior to opening her Executive Care office, Bindlish spent over 10 years working at Microsoft and Amazon in a variety of BizTech roles. Her decision to venture into senior care extends from her dream of small business ownership, as well as her passion for caring.

“Watching my grandparents grow old was my first encounter with the challenges of aging and the level of care and tenderness that is needed for aging loved one,” said Bindlish. Now, with my parents living overseas and aging in their own home without much support, there’s a certain level of guilt that weighs on me for not being able to help them. Driven by these experiences, I have a burning desire to help improve the quality of life of seniors and running an Executive Care franchise allows me to do just that.”
